Sean and Angie boast from Boastys best have been awarded 7 taste of the west awards in this year’s competition they now have 12 taste of the west awards in three years.

their chutney is also an ingredient in 3 Bridport gourmet pie products that won bronze awards in  the competition their apple  date and ginger chutney is their  famous dorset Platt (Dorset’s answer to the Cornish pasty)

Angie who earlier in the year won the national chutney championship said it’s vital to use good quality fresh produce.  We grow as much of the ingredients ourselves in Charminster near Dorchester, they can be growing in the morning and potted up in the afternoon.  You can’t get better than that.
