Associate Membership

Associate Membership is for businesses that support Direct from Dorset by selling or serving Direct from Dorset products. This can cover a wide range of businesses including galleries, retailers, hotels, pubs and restaurants.

In order to become an Associate Member you must sell, stock or serve Direct from Dorset products from at least three Full Producers Members and commit to steadily increasing the number of products stocked as time goes on. We also accept membership from non food outlets selling one craft or wood item from a Full Producer Member. Alternatively you can qualify if you are the sole retail outlet for a full member. Also the business must not be in breach of any trading standards or consumer protection legislation.

What's the next step?

To request an application form please contact the Dorset AONB, either by emailing k.wright@dorsetcc.gov.gov or call 01305 228239.  Once you’ve completed it return it to us at Direct from Dorset. The application will then be passed to Dorset Trading Standards to carry out checks to ensure the product fits the criteria. Once they are happy it will be passed to the Steering Group Membership Panel to be approved.
