Welcome to the 2011 Dorset Food Week!

Once again Dorset’s food producers, retailers, farms, restaurants and many more venues to showcase what mouth watering products Dorset has to offer. Keeping it local, seasonal and fresh is good for the health and wealth of everyone,

Farmers will be welcoming people onto their farms to show young and old alike where and how their food is made. There will be a local celebration of food and drink including tastings, markets, demonstrations and more! Then not to be left out the local pubs and restaurants will be serving local food on their menus – in some very creative ways. The weeks celebrations are county wide and everyone will be encouraged to explore the delights of the area to find the best Dorset food gems.

So look out for the Dorset Food Week signs in venues across the county.

It is with regret that this year Dorset Food week has not been able to pull together it's normal free booklet. However for events that are known to be taking place, and that we have been informed off, a list has been put together

Plans will be put in place to make sure that Dorset Food Week happens on a simalar scale to previous years for 2012.
